When TrainBot Oy — the Finnish company behind the BaddyBot Pro badminton shuttle feeder — secured an exhibition spot at the YONEX All England Open 2026, they turned to Yasa Ltd. for a complete suite of print materials. We designed and produced four deliverables: a 6.5-metre wall poster, a 4-metre wall print, an A4 poster, and a bi-fold product brochure — all built from hand-coded SVG with a custom vector production pipeline.
Client Testimonial
“Working with Yasa Ltd. on our All England Open materials was an exceptional experience. Their technical expertise in large-format print design helped us present BaddyBot Pro at the world’s most prestigious badminton tournament with confidence and professionalism.”
— Joyce Zou, CEO, TrainBot Oy
The Challenge
The YONEX All England Open is badminton’s oldest and most prestigious tournament, held at the Utilita Arena Birmingham. TrainBot needed exhibition-grade materials that could hold their own alongside global brands like YONEX. The requirements:
- Multiple formats — from 6.5m wall graphics down to A4 handouts
- Version control — 4 poster variants and 3 wall print colourways for different contexts
- Print-ready vector PDFs with all text converted to outlines
- Consistent brand identity using TrainBot’s signature yellow (#FFF200) and dark theme
- Compliance with venue artwork and DPI requirements
Big Wall Poster — 6,500 × 3,000 mm
The centrepiece: a 6.5-metre wide wall poster delivered in four versions. Version A features full branding with TrainBot, YONEX, and all sponsor logos. Versions B, C, and D progressively simplify the design for different exhibition contexts — giving the client maximum flexibility.
Small Wall Print — 3,960 × 1,000 mm
A panoramic side banner designed in three colourways: dark monochrome (A), dark yellow with branding (B), and yellow with black pattern (C). The client selected Version B — dark yellow with branding — for production. The wide format creates an impactful visual backdrop for the exhibition stand’s exterior.
A4 Poster — 210 × 297 mm
A compact handout poster featuring the BaddyBot Pro product imagery and key messaging. Designed for distribution at the exhibition booth and suitable for print shops worldwide.
Bi-Fold Brochure — A4 (flat: 426 × 303 mm)
A product brochure for BaddyBot Pro, designed as a standalone piece without YONEX branding so it can be used beyond the All England Open. The dark theme maintains brand consistency while the bi-fold format provides ample space for product specifications and features.

Technical Approach
Every deliverable was built as hand-coded SVG — no Adobe Illustrator, no InDesign. We developed a custom production pipeline specifically for this project:
- SVG authoring — Precision vector layouts with embedded raster assets (product photos, background textures, sponsor logos)
- Node.js preprocessor — Custom script to fix Inkscape compatibility issues:
rgba()converted tofill+fill-opacity,hrefrewritten toxlink:href, unsupported CSS filters stripped - Inkscape CLI export —
--export-text-to-pathconverts all typography to vector outlines, eliminating font dependency issues at the print house - pdf-lib merge — Inside and outside brochure spreads combined into a single print-ready 2-page PDF
This pipeline ensures zero font dependency at any print facility and maintains perfect vector quality at any scale — critical when your poster is 6.5 metres wide.
Project Deliverables Summary
- 4 deliverables — Wall poster, wall print, A4 poster, bi-fold brochure
- 10+ design variants — Multiple versions per deliverable for different contexts
- 6.5m largest print — Exhibition-scale graphics at full vector resolution
- 100% vector SVG — Lossless scaling, no rasterization
- Print-ready PDFs — All text outlined, CMYK-ready for any print facility
Results
TrainBot exhibited at the YONEX All England Open 2026 with a professional, cohesive visual presence across their entire booth. The materials reinforced BaddyBot Pro’s positioning as a premium badminton training tool in front of the global badminton community — players, coaches, and industry professionals from over 50 countries.
The modular version system meant TrainBot could adapt their booth graphics for different tournament contexts without commissioning new designs — a lasting investment beyond a single event.
