Yasa Ltd. was commissioned by TrainBot Oy to design large-format exhibition graphics for their booth at the All England Open 2026 — one of the world’s most prestigious badminton tournaments. The project was a partnership between TrainBot and YONEX, a global leader in badminton equipment.
The Brief
TrainBot, a Finnish technology company that builds automated badminton shuttle feeders, needed professional exhibition materials for their booth. The scope included two pieces:
- Big Wall Poster — A 6.5m × 3m wall poster featuring TrainBot and YONEX branding, product imagery, and a QR code for visitor engagement
- Small Wall Print — A 3.96m × 1m external side banner with a monogram pattern of TrainBot logos and the slogan “TrainBot Your Training Partner”
Technical Approach
Both designs were built using a custom SVG-to-PDF pipeline. The workflow involved generating pixel-perfect SVG layouts programmatically with Node.js, then converting them to print-ready PDFs using Puppeteer. This approach allowed for precise control over typography, spacing, and color at scales where traditional design tools struggle.
The big poster was delivered in four versions — from full branding (TrainBot + YONEX + sponsors) down to a minimal TrainBot-only version — giving the client flexibility for different exhibition contexts.
Design Highlights
- TrainBot’s brand yellow (#FFF200) as the primary accent color
- Dark wavy background texture for depth and visual impact
- Montserrat and Poppins typography for a modern, clean look
- SVG-based workflow for lossless scaling at any print size
- Multiple delivery versions with complete graphic guides for each
This project showcased how programmatic design and traditional graphic design can work together to produce print-ready materials at extreme scales with pixel-perfect precision.
